Women and Girls in STEM: Tackling the Gap promoted by LYRIS - advanced health education

28th June 2021 | ONLINE ROUND TABLE\ \ LYRIs is organising a first round table session with successful women that work in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The session will be around the theme "Women and Girls in STEM: Tackling the Gap", where it will be discussed the challenges that Women and Girls face when pursuing a career in STEM, both on academia as on industry. It will be also discussed the difficulties that could arise when conciliating a career with personal life.

This event will happen on 28th June 2021 from 4PM-5PM with the following sucessul women:

· Dr. Maria Mota  (Director of IMM, Lisbon, PT)

· Dr. Elena Blanco Suarez (Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA)

· Dr. Ana Melero Zaera (Assistant Professor at University of Valencia, Spain)

· Dr. Sara-Abalde Cela (Staff Researcher at INL, Portugal)
